Initial Liquidity

All liquidity was initially provided through Ociswap on 24th March 2024.

Keeping the liquidity exclusively on OciSwap was a conscious decision for this stage of the project, as distributed liquidity with relatively small liquidity risks harming the project.

Ociswap is a non-concentrated liquidity pair, so equal HIT and XRD are required to add liquidity.

DogeCube Basket Index

On 26th March 2024, a donation of 12.7 B HIT was made to the DogeCube Basket Index.

We at Addix have been long-term fans of what DogeCube do, and took up the opportunity to collaborate

A word on liquidity

We wanted to make sure no one entity snapped up a mega-whale allocation upon launch, so we gradually adding HIT:XRD to OciSwap, working out as a total of 75k XRD for 120 B HIT (12%).

With organic price rise, and OciSwap Liquidity Pools requiring 50:50 allocation, we effectively got priced out of being able to place the amount designated. This meant we held on to more HIT than we wanted.

The silver lining here was it forced us to be creative, and Don Marco pioneered Rug-Proof Staking, as a way for us to lock our own tokens up.

Bringing Initial Liquidity up

On 27th May 2024, 50 B HIT was added to a single-sided Liquidity Pool on DefiPlaza to bring provision up to initial target.

Liquidity / Liquidity Pool Rewards

We trialled a few rounds of OciSwap "Splash as a Service." Whilst the service is slick and superb to use, the results were that people would add to the pool, collect rewards, then pull their liquidity.

Maintaining adequate liquidity is obviously essential to a project. We believe Duckk set a fantastic prescident by adding initial liquidity, then burning their LP receipt.

When RadLock goes live, we will discuss with the community pulling out initial Founder LP provision on OciSwap, then locking the remaining LP Receipt.

Additionally, with the single-sided Liquidity Pools on DefiPlaza, we will look to add considerable liquidity there. Afterwards we will RadLock this LP Receipt too.
