# Initial Liquidity

All initial liquidity was provided through Ociswap on 24th March 2024, in a non-concentrated liquidity pair.

## DogeCube Basket Index

On 26th March 2024, a donation of 12.7 B HIT was made to the DogeCube Basket Index.&#x20;

We at Addix have been long-term fans of what DogeCube do, and took up the opportunity to collaborate

## A Note on Launch liquidity

We wanted to make sure no one entity snapped up a mega-whale allocation upon launch, so we gradually added HIT:XRD to OciSwap, working out as a total of 75k XRD for 120 B HIT (12%).&#x20;

With organic price rise, and OciSwap Liquidity Pools requiring 50:50 allocation, we effectively got priced out of being able to place the amount designated. This meant we ended up holding more HIT than we wanted.&#x20;

Perhaps we should have lauched fully diluted, and taken the hit of a few whales loading up for pennies. The silver lining here was it forced us to be creative, and Don Marco pioneered [Rug-Proof Staking](/usdhit-on-radix/proof-of-usdhit/rug-proof-usdhit-staking.md), as a way for us to lock our own tokens up.&#x20;

## RadLocking Liquidity

On 28th August 2024, 37.5% Total Supply of HIT contained in [DefiPlaza](https://radix.defiplaza.net/liquidity/add/resource_rdx1t4v2jke9xkcrqra9sf3lzgpxwdr590npkt03vufty4pwuu205q03az?direction=base) & [Ociswap](https://ociswap.com/pools/component_rdx1crryp022aus6ny6fyqrxyhkqjvpplvt5dq0h6taz0mfwypdr84ka9w) Liquidity Pools was [Radlocked for 1,000 years](https://app.radlock.io/insights/projects/FungibleResource/resource_rdx1t4v2jke9xkcrqra9sf3lzgpxwdr590npkt03vufty4pwuu205q03az).  &#x20;
