Node Manager

On Nov 16 2024 - Addix went live with our Node Manager Utility

The Node Manager came into existence initially as an admin console, to execute raw transactions without going into Radix Console and Transaction Manifest.

When the 💚Addix+FOMO🐸 Node entered into the Top 100, we were still unsure of the logistics of managing the node in terms of claiming fees. We thought this was something that Radix themselves would send.

Only after insights from within the Node Running community, and other founders, did we learn that fee unstakes require two stages;

1) A one-month long primary unstake, triggered from the console.

2) A week long unstake, similar to how a regular user would unstake.

Unstaking fees are an essential part of the Addix tokenomics. 100% of fees are used for buybacks, in collaboration with our partners at FOMO. As such, these tx need to be triggered regularly, to collect fees, to do our buybacks.

In building this utility as an in-house feature, we decided to make it publicly available, with features for both Node Runners and community members, including tracking unstakes from all validators, alerts for fee changes, and managing users' own stakes.
